Reader Response Assignment

Every month you are required to complete 15 independent reading responses.  Some of these will be done in class, but most will be done at home.  Each response should demonstrate your understanding of your independent reading book (must read for 20 minutes per response).  Each set of 15 responses will be collected the last school day of the month.  You may choose to submit them early.  Reader responses must be completed in your composition notebook headed, numbered, and thoughtfully written.  We will set up the books together during class.
